This role will be based in our Dublin office with occasional travel to Kilroot Power Station, Ballylumford Power Station in Northern Ireland and Tyangh Power Station in Galway. An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Trading Analyst, supporting the TTEP All-Island Trading Team. The All-Island Trading Team is responsible for delivering optimisation, risk management and wholesale market access services for all TTEP assets in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland into the All Island Single electricity Market (I-SEM). The Trading Analyst shall be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the All-Island Trading Team. The Trading Analyst will provide key analytical support for the trading and optimisation of a growing TTEP generation portfolio, including Tynagh Energy CCGT, Ballylumford CCGTs and Kilroot OCGTs. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining in-house bidding and analytical tools and processes to maximise gross margin across all trading horizons ranging from Forward hedging, day-ahead, intraday and real time despatch.
