About the role: We're hiring for Self-Managed Experience (SMX) — the team responsible for making Camunda 8 deployable in a self-service way for customers who run their own infrastructure. SMX covers two areas of work: installation artifacts (Helm chart, Docker Compose, C8Run) and reference architectures & cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). This role sits primarily on the installation artifacts side — building, maintaining, and releasing the artifacts that ship Camunda 8 to every self-managed customer. You'll be fully embedded in that area day-to-day, but you'll work alongside the reference-architecture side of the team regularly, and SMX is actively working toward enabling every engineer to review and contribute across both stacks over time.
