Most AI features are a prompt box bolted onto an existing product. We're after something harder: AI that does real work inside a customer's journey, and that enterprise teams trust to do it. That trust is a design problem before it's an engineering one, and it's the problem we want you to own.
You'll be the designer on our Intelligence team, the group defining the next phase of TheyDo's agentic platform. We've built the foundations. Now the work is deepening how much value that AI creates within Journey Management. This is a role for someone who shapes what we build, not someone waiting for a spec to land on their desk.
Why this role, now
TheyDo is Journey Management: the platform where large organizations map their customers' end-to-end experience, agree on the right opportunities, and align teams around them. Our users are design-savvy CX and product professionals working inside complex enterprises.
AI is central to where the product goes next. We've laid the groundwork, and the next chapter is about making that intelligence a trusted, everyday collaborator in how our customers understand and improve their journeys. It's an open, fast-moving design space, and the shape of it isn't settled. That's why we're hiring someone to help define it.
What you'll define
You'll help set the direction for how people and AI work together inside TheyDo, and turn that direction into experiences we ship.
The human–AI relationship. Design how our customers collaborate with AI inside a journey: where a person stays in the driver's seat, where the product can take more off their plate, and how that balance shifts as trust grows.Trust and control as craft. The moments where someone reviews, steers, approves, or reverses what the AI does are the heart of this work. They're the difference between AI that feels safe and AI that feels risky.New interaction patterns. Define how people express intent and get intelligent, dependable results in a space that mostly doesn't have established patterns yet, including the unglamorous parts: waiting, cost, and what happens when something comes back wrong.From capability to experience. Partner closely with PM, engineering, and research to understand what's newly possible, how fast that's changing, and how to turn it into something our users find genuinely useful.A coherent system. Establish the patterns that become part of TheyDo's design language as this area matures, so the rest of the product can build on them.
What you'll do
Sit at the front of the roadmap: turn an ambiguous, fast-moving space into concrete bets, and make the case for them with prototypes rather than documents.Prototype constantly, including with AI. We're an AI-forward team, so using AI to move faster in your own craft is already how we work.Talk to users constantly: interviews, sales and customer success calls, and our design community, especially the practitioners betting their work on our product.Ship high-quality,
