About the role Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) sit at the intersection of engineering and customer impact. This is not a traditional product engineering role - it's built for engineers who want their work to directly shape outcomes for Synthesia's most strategic customers and partners, often within days, not sprints. You'll be embedded in high-value customer engagements, working alongside Sales, Solutions, and Customer Success to design, build, and ship bespoke technical solutions that unlock use cases no off-the-shelf feature could address. You'll own the full arc - from a whiteboard conversation with a customer's CTO through to a working, deployed integration - and you'll do it fast. This role is for engineers who are super scrappy, fast-learning, and ambitious - people who might not pass every bar of a traditional product engineering process but who consistently find creative ways to get things built and shipped in the real world.
