Role Title: DevOps Engineer Role Type: Contract Location: Remote Required Skills Kubernetes Terraform CI/CD Python Linux Key responsibilities Design realistic DevOps tasks based on production-style scenarios (CI/CD, containers, orchestration, IaC, monitoring, incident response) Write working reference solutions with clear setup and validation steps Review AI-generated output, identify failures, and write precise corrections with reasoning Maintain a strict quality bar on correctness and reproducibility Share structured feedback that improves future task design Required qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure engineering Strong coding ability in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript (this role needs real code, not scripts alone) Practical depth in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation) Advanced Linux and Git Professional English, written and spoken Availability of at least 20 hours per week Preferred qualifications Observability stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) Security, secrets management, or platform reliability background Open source contributions or technical writing Previous AI training data or model evaluation work Originally posted on Himalayas
