The Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Marketing team in achieving business objectives. This position involves a mix of administrative, organizational, external events and customer-facing tasks to ensure smooth operations and enhanced customer experience. Optics11 is a world leader in fiber optic sensing technology for ultra-sensitive early warning systems. From our base in the Netherlands – a global hub for high-tech innovation and maritime expertise – we are on a mission to make the world safer by protecting critical infrastructure such as sea-lanes, offshore energy assets and subsea cables from disruption. Optics11 recently closed a €17 million investment round. About the role: As Marketing Assistant, you will support the day-to-day execution of our Underwater Security marketing activities. You will help deliver campaigns, keep sales and marketing materials up to date, and coordinate events from preparation through follow-up. What will you do? Support the execution of marketing campaigns for our Underwater Security portfolio, including content, LinkedIn, email and website updates. Create and maintain marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, promotional content and event materials using approved messaging and templates. Coordinate conferences, trade shows and customer events, including registrations, travel, accommodation, logistics, suppliers and exhibition materials. Support event promotion, attendee coordination and on-site activities, including welcoming visitors and connecting prospects with the right Sales or technical colleagues.
