Are you the financial partner we are looking for to drive project success? Do you have a sharp analytical mindset, strong financial expertise, and a proactive approach to challenging assumptions and driving data-driven decisions? Then we are looking for you! The Challenge As a Project Controller , you will act as an independent and trusted financial partner to the Project Manager or Unit Director, supporting sound decision-making and ensuring strong financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. You will transform financial data into clear insights on project progress, costs, cash flow, profitability, forecasts, and risks. Working proactively, you will identify deviations early, challenge assumptions and plans, and provide clear recommendations to improve project performance and financial predictability. You will work closely with Project Managers, Business Controllers, and Finance, connecting project finances with broader financial, accounting, tax, and risk requirements. Your role will go beyond reporting, helping stakeholders navigate complex situations and ensuring effective financial governance and control. Project Financial Management : Oversee the financial performance of projects from tender through execution, ensuring effective financial control. Budget & Forecasting : Monitor and optimize budgets, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and forecasts, challenging assumptions where needed. Risk & Contract Management : Identify and quantify financial risks and assess the impact of contracts, changes, variations, and claims. Reporting & Analysis : Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports, translating financial data into clear insights and recommendations. Compliance & Finance Alignment : Ensure compliance with Deerns' risk framework and local accounting and tax requirements, supporting financial closing and audits.
