About the Role: We're looking for a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to set technical direction for our platform, not just build within it. This is the most senior IC role on the team: you'll own architecture for our most consequential, cross-org infrastructure initiatives, and be the person other senior and staff engineers look to when a design decision needs to hold up across every team that depends on it. Recent and current flagship work at this level includes leading the Istio service mesh rollout as single-threaded owner across the entire organization; shaping the architecture behind our Multi-Region Resilience Program; and owning the technical direction of our AI-enriched Service Catalog. You'll operate at the intersection of deep technical execution and org-wide influence, staying hands-on in critical code and infrastructure paths while setting the patterns other teams build on.
