The Role As we bring accounting in-house and prepare for our first audit, we are looking for an Accountant to build the accounting engine behind our Finance team . You’ll report to our Finance lead and own the process that gets us reliable numbers every month, working with one of the first AI-first accounting platforms adopted in Italy. Your key responsibilities Accounting Internalization: Bring Italian accounting in-house from January, starting with a dry run in December and working with our external accountants through the transition. Monthly Close: Own the tasks that get us to a monthly close within 10 business days: invoice registration, bank reconciliations, and pre-close checks. AI-First Accounting Tooling: Set up our accounting platform (Light), make sure what goes in and what comes out is right, and push automation further every month. Invoicing Control: Make sure every deal is invoiced and every invoice is checked and recorded, increasing the share of invoicing that runs automatically. Audit Rea
