About the team The Public Policy team helps represent Stripe to the public and governments. We help the company understand and adapt to a changing environment, anticipate and respond to challenges, and advocate for the needs of our users and the online economy. What you’ll do Responsibilities Support State and Local Public Policy, which involves bringing together cross-functional groups within the company to spot issues and understand the impact to Stripe, building a strategy to address Stripe’s key issues at the state level, and working with trade associations and coalitions to advance policy issues important to Stripe and our users Foster state and local political relationships Hire and manage consultants Coordinate Stripe political giving at the state and local level Build a strategic network of peers among Stripe users and similarly situated fintechs to engage in coordinated advocacy at the state and local level Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.
